❀  Have sent out invoices to most clients; will contact remaining clients right after I post this. If you haven't heard from me by tonight, Tokyo-time, please let me know.
❀  For those from whom I receive address details and payment in time, I plan to start shipping packages tomorrow or Wednesday. I will contact the clients after shipment.

Movies Paradise STATUS:
❀  Will sort through books today or tomorrow and contact clients with acquisition details at that time. Please bear with me for a few more days.

MISCELLANEOUS fanservices UPDATES:
❀  First and second winners of giveaway contacted. Awaiting more information to contact third
❀  Upcoming deadline: Group Orders, deadline September 29th. 
❀  I am taking Individual/Direct Orders through the end of October.
❀  It's looking likely that I'll be attending COMIC SPARK 6 in October, and taking limited orders. I'm not sure what my winter vacation plans are as of yet; if I am in town for Comiket, I will only be taking very limited orders. Otherwise, I do not have any upcoming events planned until February. If you hear of any I might be interested in, please let me know, but I think I need to pace myself a bit better. ^_^;;

Movies Paradise report!

This event is one of the smaller ones I attend -- only about 300 circles in total, all for non-Japanese fandoms. It's pretty awesome, if that's your cup of tea. (The only downside is there seems to be a greater proportion of novels available than other events, which, if you're like me and can't read much Japanese....)

I brought my friend @KuriLu along -- it's her first Japanese convention, and I'm pretty sure the first thing she remarked on was how it's pretty much all women attending. Which is true -- I had told her before hand about the size, and the potential lines, and the fandoms included, but not the specific demographic. I managed to convince her to get a How to Train Your Dragon doujinshi (her first doujin! I'm so proud! *tear* *such an enabler/corrupter of minds*), as well as a few other items, including some BBC Sherlock pins. AWESOME. I did my usual rounds of the SPN and Holmes booths, but this time picked up a fair amount of XM:FC titles, too. No Inception for me, this time. :(

Another friend of mine, Marixsa, met us at the event. Marixsa is accustomed to massive events like Comiket, and marveled at the small size of this one. :P (It's not even the smallest I've attended by a long shot -- I'm pretty sure the FFVII ONLY event had less than 40 circles, and SuperDiner was less than 100, I believe. The upcoming Duo/Heero one has only 30. But when you're used to circle participation being in the several thousands...) Afterwards, we went to lunch and had TURKEY sandwiches (Japan doesn't do turkey, it was wondrous to eat it after so long), and walked through what must have been a mini-cosplay event -- two sets of Kotetsu and Barnaby, a few One Piece cosplayers, and several others from various series. Then, @KuriLu and I went to the Vampire Cafe! But I think I've overshot what properly belongs in an event report already, so I'll stop there. :P

Boku no Hero!

My Hero! is a Tiger&Bunny event with over five hundred circle spaces, being held on Monday, September 19th.

Order deadline is September 18th, 7pm Tokyo (6am EST). 

Another last minute decision, sorry, so no deposit /required/ for this event.
