Movies Paradise is an overseas fandom doujinshi event, covering movies and live-action TV shows from outside Japan. MP28 will be held on June 19th with nearly 1000 participating circles! There will be petit-only events for Merlin, Kingsman, RPS Hiddlesworth, The Man from UNCLE (Ilya/Solo), Avengers (Cap/Tony), Numb3rs, Hannibal (Will- or Hugh-centric), and SHERLOCK (Magnussen-centric).

To enter the official event page, please click on "MP28入口," then on "サークルリスト" for more circle details. Selecting the viewing options "ジャナル" and "配置順リスト" will allow you to view the circle details grouped by location (and therefore approximately by fandom).

Please note the deadline for deposits is June 13th. You can update me on your requests until the day before the event, as circles often don't post their sales flyer until the last minute. However, if you are even considering placing an order, please contact me prior to the deadline, so I can better judge how much money to prepare. Thank you!

A bit of a slow start to the year, but services are now resumed for 2016.

The next upcoming event is Movies Paradise 27, held on February 7th. For those unfamiliar with this event, it deals with overseas (non-Japanese) live action fandoms, primarily films and US/UK television series. Comics and novel doujinshi are available, and there have been a growing number of goods circles recently as well. Please click here for more information.

Also on my calendar is TEAM UP 7, on April 3rd. This is a small event focused on American comics fandom, largely Marvel/DC superheros. I'm attending for cosplay reasons, but I can shop too. Because it shares a hall with other small fandom events (El Shaddai, SnK Eren/Levi, and Phoenix Wright), I can also visit those upon request. Please click here for more information.

I have not made plans yet for Haru Comic City -- the end of March and the beginning of May are always up in the air, travel-wise.

SCC is done for this year. I've contacted the Day 1 orders, and should receive the shipment of Day 2 books tomorrow for sorting and packing. I may have some accidental pick-ups/extras in the BBC Sherlock fandom, so feel free to message me if you're interested. I will update the sales album accordingly a bit later. (Thanks to SH2JW attending, I now have a few full sets of her English-language BBC Sherlock doujinshi up for sale, for those who missed the event.)

Hey everyone! I'm really sorry for the lack of updates for the past few months. Plenty of excuses I could make, but I won't bore you with them here ^^;; (Blather and cosplay pics will eventually get posted to my personal LJ, if you're interested. Eventually.)

What will affect services temporarily is the fact that I am moving to Saitama within the month. My roommate is moving into the new apartment this weekend, so I do technically have a permanent address I can work from, but I'd rather hold off on resuming direct orders until after I'm somewhat settled.

In addition, there has been a rather large change recently in exchange rates between JPY and USD, so until I recalculate that sucker, I've been taking payments in yen instead.

Lastly, I am planning on attending Day 2 of SCC (May 4th, I believe, gotta double check that) as well as Movies Paradise in June. Participation details are pretty much the same as always, so if you need me to pick something up for you, let me know!

EDIT: I'm sorry guys, but I don't think I'll be able to make it to day one this year. I had promised a friend earlier this year to pick up an anthology at Day 2, which is why I've freed up Saturday, but the rest of Golden Week is pretty busy - IM3, packing, moving, /un/packing, arranging appliance purchase and delivery, etc...

Movies Paradise 17 is on September 22nd. An overseas fandom event, genres represented include Supernatural, Star Wars, Inception, DC Comics, actor RPS, XMFC, Sherlock Holmes, and many more!

I'm actually participating as a circle this time, so that may limit the amount of time I can spend shopping. (I honestly have no idea, never having done this before. It will certainly be an adventure!)
