2016 has been difficult for everyone, I think -- myself included. I've had some personal issues making it difficult to get things shipped on time, which makes me feel guilty, which makes me avoid email...a vicious cycle. I'm getting caught up now though.

The next month will be really busy with work, cosplay construction, events and travel, but I hope to resume mail orders at a normal pace by the end of January 2017. I'm taking new requests now, but shipping availability will be spotty for a while longer. Another note on mail orders -- domestic shipping rates have increased slightly for several stores, including Toranoana and CQueen.

I will attend Winter Comiket 91, but since I'm going primarily for cosplay (and bulky ones at that), I'm not able to offer shopping services. (The only possible exception is for the western movie/TV/comics fandom. I will definitely visit that section, but I might not be physically able to shop for others, depending on what I'm wearing.) Edit: No, I don't know anyone else offering C91 services. If I hear about anything, I will make a post.

Do you also offer event shopping services, in Japan or elsewhere? (I know when I was setting up I was also googling the competition other ppl who did it, no shame here lol) Let me know if you want to advertise here. When I can't help with an event, I sometimes get asked if I know anyone who is going, so maybe I can point them your way.

Mashuma, my friend who helps me with large events, will be running the shopping service for Comiket 90. She will attend days 1 and 2 (Friday, August 12th and Saturday, August 13th). No Day 3 or commercial booths, sorry.

I will not be available for Winter Comiket 89 (December 2015). Nor do I know anyone offering their services. Sorry!

Edit: Mail order services are also suspended until I return from vacation in January. Have a happy new year!

COMIKET 88 IS ALMOST HERE

Are you ready to order? :)

I will be offering shopping services for days 1 and 2 of this event. Please let me know if I can help! Ordering details are behind the cut -- please doublecheck the information I need you to send me, as well as the fees involved in participating. Thank you! (If I have enough requests for day 3, I'll consider it at double cost -- I really hate that day...)

Update: Looks like Day 3 is a go! (Pray for cool weather. orz) Please note, the fee for each circle on day three is USD $25. I had hoped to hear from my friend helping me with Comiket before making a decision, but alas.

Further Notes:
❀ What is with Comiket and my vacation timing? /o\ I will be participating in GISHWHES August 1-8, and travelling in Hong Kong August 5-9. Soooooo my response time might be less reliable than hoped during that week, sorry. Because of this, if you are able to, please pay your deposits early. I will make the hard deadline August 10th (after I return to Japan), in case we need last minute communication, but I will need to transfer the bulk of the funds before then.

Mashuma, a friend who often helps me run pick-up at events, has offered to attend Comiket for days 1 and 2. If you're still looking for a proxy service for this event, please send her a message!

Mashuma can be reached by email at mashuma2003 at yahoo dot com, subject line "Comiket". Payment will be entirely handled in JPY, via her Japanese PayPal account.

Fees will be roughly the same as past Comiket events, with deposit estimates at Y1000 per book instead of in USD. If you have any questions, please contact Mashuma, as I will not be in the country myself. :)

Happy holidays!
~[livejournal.com profile] feikoi

Due to issues with PayPal’s verification system and updated identification requirements, Mashuma’s account will not be active until after Comiket, sadly. We regret to inform you that services will be suspended C87 again /o\ We really wished this could have worked out this go around, but at least we’ve gotten the paperwork started for future events.

Took the day off and crashed yesterday, sorry about the delay in responses! I have the first batch of C86 orders ready for shipment tomorrow, and working through the next set of small C86 orders and mail orders now. Some of the larger requests from C86 require appropriately sized boxes, so I'm sorting through what I have on hand before I go out for poster tubes and the like.

It also turns out that I may have several extra copies from the Western fandom section this time, so lmk if you're interested in any of that.
[identity profile] feikoi.livejournal.com
Day 3 is over (finally), and now it’s time to unpack all the books and goods! Nearly USD 2000 spent at C86, wow.

If you haven’t emailed me with your address and preferred shipping method, please do so. And if you are combining shipping with another order, remind me — I probably have it noted down in multiple places already, but it’s always good to double-check.

If I ever volunteer to attend Day 3 again, remind me that being declared mentally incompetent is imminent, and that I may wish to reconsider. :/ Worst conditions, ever. I always remember it being horrible, and then I get there, and it’s /worse/. (The weather could have almost been called cool until an hour before I could get into the event — that and the requests I had in a row in H section were the only saving graces about that day.)

But to end on a happier note, I got to meet up with a few other Marvel cosplayers on Friday! :3 Went as Pepper Potts from the end of IM3 — the costume is a bit of a hot mess, as I only started work on it on Tuesday, but then again, that may be appropriate. :D Cosplay pix will go up on my main tumblr, feikoi! (Once I check permissions from the others, anyway ^^)

Thank you to everyone participating!

Small modifications to lists will be accepted through 8/13; late fees for those I haven’t received deposits from yet is a non-refundable USD 30.

(The final tally of circles to visit for [livejournal.com profile] fanservices is 34 on Friday, 48 on Saturday, and 26 on Sunday! Ganbarimasu!)

Comiket deposits due today (8/10)! 22:00 Japan Standard Time!

Due to other duties, I will not be able to respond to new order requests until possibly after the deadline, sorry!

Current tally of the circle requests is as follows (updated 8/10):

Day 1 (Friday, 8/15) = 34 (12 on the wall)
Day 2 (Saturday, 8/16) = 48 (14 on the wall)
Day 3 (Sunday, 8/27) = 36 (8 on the wall)

It looks like we're approaching the limit of feasible wall circles on days 2 and 3, considering how long some of those lines can get, but there's still room for day 1! At previous Comikets, I've managed 70+ circles a day, not including my own shopping. But as I only have an assistant on day 1 this event -- the day I'm also cosplaying -- the cut off will have to happen a little sooner than that.

I know some of you are waiting until the circles release their lists, but it's best to at least get a preliminary request in before the deposit deadline. ^^

Sorry for the late update! Yes, I will be attending Winter Comiket this time, days 1 and 2. I may try to make a proper post soon (you can look at the o:comiket tag for how I typically run the event), but basic details:

Attending: Day 1 (December 29th) and Day 2 (December 30th). I have plans on the 31st, and cannot attend.
Fees: Y900 OR 30% title cost per circle, plus an additional Y500 for wall circles.
Deposit: USD $10 per item. If you don't have an exact title list yet, a rough estimate will do.
Deposit due by: December 25th, earlier if at all possible. I need to get it transferred to my bank and withdrawn before banks close for the New Years holiday.

Please note:
1. Currently, commercial/corporate booths (marked with a three digit space number, ex. 345) will not be visited, unless the circle list for one day is limited to one area. Lines for that section are incredibly long, and I don't want to visit the corporate area at the expense of circle orders. If circumstances /do/ allow it, it will be at a much higher set commission fee (around ¥2500 or 40% per booth, with ¥1000 portion non-refundable in the case I line up for your booth but am still unable to acquire your requests).
2. The western fandom section will be visited first on...whatever day that is, I still need to check. Day 2. (Running soooo behind on everything, apologies.)
3. [livejournal.com profile] jessamygriffin and I will likely be splitting shopping lists by area so we can fulfill as many orders as possible. Though number 2 still applies there (generally, she focuses on BBC Sherlock, while I hit Avengers/PacRim/pretty much everything else.)
4. Alterations to lists will be accepted up through December 27th, though hopefully we'll have the bulk of the requests settled by the deposit deadline.

If you have any questions or requests, please email me at fanservices.sales at gmail.com. Also, please use a subject header including "C85", so I don't miss adding your requests to the list!

Edit: I've had a few inquiries about the commercial/corporate booths. I'm not exaggerating about the line situation -- it's generally between 20 minutes and 3 hours for each line, depending on popularity, they only stock a certain amount per day so queueing from the early morning is necessary, and there may be a limit on how many copies can be purchased at one time (multiple mentions of kyo-ani so far, may require queuing again). (It's also packed to the brim which sometimes gets a little gross, to be entirely honest.)

I'm only considering handling this section if a) it doesn't mean neglecting the rest of that day's orders, and b) it's worth my time, meaning /much/ higher rates since I won't be able to take many orders. I may also require a small non-refundable deposit for that section -- things sell out, unfortunately, and I don't want to waste several hours for nothing, you know? I could also visit in the afternoon, after handling other requests, but again, things sell out quick.

I will make a final decision closer to the deadline, say, 12/23-ish? Thank you for your patience.
[identity profile] feikoi.livejournal.com
Late notice as I tend to do, but my friend and event helper [livejournal.com profile] jessamygriffin will be attending Comiket for one day only, the 29th. This is the day of the western fandom section, amongst others. (Any fandom section is okay, but no corporate booth service this time, sorry guys.)

Jessamy will be running the event similarly to how I've done past Comikets. If you're interested in this proxy service, follow this link for more details.

Thanks, Jessamy!

Hey everyone!

Between weather and overtime at work, I'm a bit behind on packages, sorry! In addition, it turns out that I'll be returning home over winter break, and so I won't be able to send packages essentially between mid-December and mid-January. I should be able to still handle the ordering part of direct orders, but it's up to you whether you want me to place your orders during that period or not.

As you might have deduced from the above, this means I will NOT be able to attend Winter Comiket this year. I'm talking to a friend about possibly handling one day of western fandom orders only, but nothing is set in stone as of yet. I will be giving her moderator privileges in the event she /is/ able to handle Comiket, but no promises, guys.

MP18 on January 16th, however, I do plan on attending -- not as a circle this time, have been far too preoccupied to arrange that, whoops. Details on that sometime later.
[identity profile] feikoi.livejournal.com
Shipping and Payment:
While I'm still packing up a few of the larger and tricky packages, I have the rest packed up and waiting to go out (or shipped already!). I plan to get as many as I can out tomorrow. Currently awaiting payment response from 18 people.

Excess Items:
I managed to pick up an extra copy of Rejet's Diabolik Lovers CD, "Blood, Love & Sweat".SOLD. I also have a few extra copies of NEKOMISO+'s DC/Marvel doujinshi, and Pygmalion's new Sherlock Holmes doujinshi ON HOLD. If you or anyone you know is interested in these items, let me know!

Edit: Pfff, something came up, so shipping has been pushed back to Monday. Sorry for the delay! 20-plus packages to go out!

Whoops, missed my window for getting a taxi to the post offic... on Twitpic
[identity profile] feikoi.livejournal.com
Summer Comiket is finished! *collapses* Yet another hot, sweaty, crowded event (ugh, last day is the /worst/), but that's generally to be expected for August events -- the hottest month in Tokyo.

I've gotten all the books in, and have mostly managed to recover from jet lag at this point, so, yay! Today, I'll start going through the lists of what I did and didn't get, and sorting the books out for you. It may take a week or so for me to get around to fully organizing your order, as I did have more than 60 people participating in this event's pick-up.

If you need information on what I did and did not pick up sooner than that, please send me an email. I'm aware that some of you are stalking the auction sites for what I may not have been able to get this time. ^^

Rejet clients:
The pins/badges for Diabolik Lovers were completely sold out. In addition, CDs were not included in the bag sets, so for those of you who requested the CD instead if that were the case, I think I was able to manage that. (Need to check the inventories to make sure I didn't mess up the math on that.)

Yoneda Kou/Raw clients:
I have 10 copies of the Color Film artbook, which should cover everyone.

As a side note, for those unfamiliar with Comiket -- the event stretches from 10-4 or 5 each day, but many circles sell out or have packed up and left by 1:30 or 2pm. In addition, the massive lines before the event start before event the first trains begin, so  even arriving as soon as possible, I don't get inside the event halls until 10:30 or 11 AM. Therefore, I have a very short window in which to buy items. I've done my best to fulfill everyone's orders, but I did have some cases where the circle was sold out before noon even, so please understand if I wasn't able to get all of your books.

Catalog's in for C82! \o/

There's a little time left for placing last minute orders, as I go through your catalog search requests today. As it currently stands, I will be attending all three days, with over 200 on the list (and that's before the circles I'm looking up right now).

Currently:
Day 1 = 63 circles (17 of them wall) plus 50 for me :3
Day 2 = 81 circles (15 of them wall) plus 25 for me
Day 3 = 26 circles (6 of them wall)
Plus, five corporate booths to fit in.

Busy, busy!

UPDATE: Orders are now closed! I'm still working through the catalog checks, and waiting on deposits from 18 people one person. I will allow limited changes to the orders I have now, but it is very possible that I will not have internet access at all between 8/5 and 8/8.

UPDATE 2: If you want to reserve first-circle-visited status, especially useful for those super-popular wall circles, it will be an additional fee of 35 USD per day, first come first served. This offer is available for the next couple of days, until I have to set up my maps and attendance game plan :3 Slots taken, thank you!

[identity profile] feikoi.livejournal.com
Greetings from vacation!

It looks like I'll receive the C82 catalog around August 1st, and so can start looking up fandoms and circles then. Until then, I'm making a list of things to check. Because of this delay, I'll extend the preliminary get-me-your-lists deadline to August 2nd.

(Now to figure out how to make a C82 mailing list...)
[identity profile] feikoi.livejournal.com
Once again, I'll be offering proxy services for Summer Comiket! :D

For those unfamiliar with Japanese doujinshi events, this is a massive three day fanworks convention with tens of thousands of participating artists -- and many more attendees. The doujin circles have already started to hear back whether or not they managed to get drawn in the lottery for a space at this event, so keep an eye out -- your favorite group might be attending!

Comiket was fun, but exhausting, I must say. Was up at 4:20 for Day 1, didn't leave the event until 3:30 or so -- and went to dinner with friends afterwards. For the next two days, I got to "sleep in" til 6:20, having acquired circle passes. Day 3 was a madhouse -- sorry, but the singleminded, physically rude male otaku shoving their way everywhere are the guys that give the rest of us fans bad names. (Then again, my temper may have been running thin at that point due to exhaustion and not having eaten enough -- I swear I don't usually have all the social grace of Rodney McKay.) ETA: Days 1 and 2 were a blast -- obviously very hectic, but. I got to chat with a few artists -- who are really excited that people from outside Japan love their work. :D I pass along their handshakes and thank yous and general gleeful surprise to you guys. :3

Anywho. I've contacted those people whose requests I was entirely unable to fulfill, though I've yet to input Day 3's manifest in its entirety. Once that's in, and I crack open the boxes, I'll start packing and weighing everything for shipping estimates. If you'd like to be on the ball, email me with your shipping destination and method preferences!

And in deference to those whose requests were missed, I'm opening up a short-term group order for Toranoana! Anyone can participate!

TORANOANA GROUP ORDER DETAILS

Item cost and commission is to be paid up front by the posted deadline. Payment is to be made though PayPal in USD.

The payment/domestic fees will be split equally among the orders and added to the international S&H and PayPal fees (if applicable) in the final payment.

To calculate the amount due by the deadline, add up the total cost of items from Toranoana, then multiply by 0.018 for the amount due in USD. ETA: The figure ".018" includes approximately 30% commission -- quite a lot lower than the usual group orders!

For example:
Item one: Y677.
Item two: Y800.
Amount due: Y1477 * 0.018 = $26.59

Comiket order details here!

UPDATES
12/27 Deposits are in, and I'm printing out the final maps and shopping lists in a little while. For the curious, stats for this event's orders are below.
12/23 Less than 12 hours to get your deposits in! I'm sorry, but I won't be able to accept any new orders.
12/21 As you can see below, my docket's pretty full up right now. I won't be able to take any orders after the 12/22 deadline, and deposit MUST BE PAID ON TIME (unless I've otherwise stated in emails). Minor alterations for accepted orders will be taken until two or three days before the event -- before I print out the lists and maps.
12/17 My apologies for the delay in replies this week. I'm replying to emails today. (Weekend, yay!)

CATALOG
CATALOG GET!! Feel free to remind me of your catalog search request. Still waiting on the C81 DVDROM catalog. :( While we wait, you can check the pixiv event page here or the Twitter map here.

HALL PRIORITY
Space info: West Halls 1-2 are the hiragana sections. East Halls 1-3 use ABC and katakana "a" through "sa". East Halls 4-6 use the remaining katakana alphabet.

Here's the tentative order in which I'll be visiting circles, and the stats for each day (plus 3 corporate booths):

DAY 1
Orders: 73 circles total, 11 wall
Personal: 67 add'l circles (nearly all my fandoms are this day: Bleach, FF/KH, El Shaddai, western, Ao no Exorcist...)
  1. West Halls 1-2 (+ Corporate if easily accessible)
  2. East Halls 4-6
  3. East Halls 1-3
  4. Corporate (?)

DAY 2
Orders: 76 circles, 14 wall
Personal: 13 add'l circles (FMA, Saiyuki -- T&B is overwhelmingly large)
  1. East 1-3
  2. East 4-6
  3. West 1-2
  4. Corporate (?)

DAY 3
Orders: 39 circles, 12 wall
Personal: (cosplay day?)
  1. East Halls 4-6
  2. East Halls 1-3
  3. West Halls 1-2
  4. Corporate (?)

Number of participants: 32
Circles requested: 188

Cosplay isn't happening on day 1 and 2, sadly. If I'm unable to reach it until the end of the day (say, after 3 pm), last priority wall circles will not have that added fee, unless there's /still/ a line. (At C80, I managed 55+ circles a day with time to spare, so I /should/ be able to handle the current list. What's time consuming at Comiket, besides the wall circles, is getting between East and West Halls, as well as going up to the Corporate booths.)

NOTES
I've created a new email address for [livejournal.com profile] fanservices: fanservices.sales at gmail.com. I'm going to try setting up mail forwarding between that account and my keitai, so as to better facilitate last-minute communications.
